Minerva A. Worzel, age 84, died Thursday, August 23, 2012 at Ellen Memorial Health Care Center in Honesdale.
Mrs. Worzel was born October 24, 1927 and was the daughter of the late Eva Hansult.
She was predeceased by her husband, Robert R. and three sons, Glenn, Jeff and James.
Minerva was a homemaker who enjoyed her home, pool and cutting her lawn and she like to dance. Her passion was spending time with her family. She was a very strong woman.
She is survived by her daughter & son-in-law, Gail & Bill Steuhl of Greeley, PA; three daughters-in-law, Susan Lesnick of Lakeville, PA;, Laurie Oberti of Wayne, NJ; Karen Worzel of Hawley, PA; 11 grandchildren, Kris Ann Blaine, Brian Steuhl, Kelly Compton, Jamie Abaraca, Justin, Zach, Nicholas, Mitchell, Dana, Ryan and Erin Worzel and 3 great grandchidren, Emily & Abby Blaine, Ayden Abaraca and several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Saturday, Aug. 25 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Teeters' East Chapel, 505 Church St, Hawley, PA, followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. with Rev. Martin L. Cox, Jr., retired Pastor, Hawley United Methodist Church, officiating.
Burial will be in German Hill Cemetery.
