  • The Newfoundland Rotary Club is working hard in preparation for their 5th Annual Flea Market and Auction.
The Flea Market will be held Saturday, August 4 and Sunday August 5 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Greene Dreher Sterling Fairgrounds on Rts 191 and 507 in Newfoundland, Pa., which are located behind the Wallenpaupack South Elementary School.
In addition to selling the items that have been donated to the Rotary Club, space is available to anyone who wants to sell their own items. The cost is $10.00 per day. Setup is at 7 a.m. Also, any local non-profit organizations can have space for free to promote their activities.
The auction will start at 5 p.m. on Saturday. This year’s auction will be bigger and better than ever. There are antiques and collectibles, several nice bedroom suites, outdoor furniture, old tools, lawn mowers, cut glass and china, tables and chairs, several recliners and rocking chairs, hand tools and tool boxes, home décor and lamps. Go to wetmoreauction.com to see a complete list to date. More items are being donated daily.
The members of the Newfoundland Rotary Club sincerely thank John Wetmore, Auctioneer for donating his services for the auction.
For questions or information or to donate call Roger Altemier @ 570-676-3384.
There is something for everyone here. This event has grown into a major fundraiser for the Newfoundland Rotary Club. The proceeds help fund Rotary Club activities including donations to the Greene Dreher Volunteer Fire Association, Newfoundland Area Ambulance Association, Greene Dreher Historical Society and local youth organizations, as well as supporting the Rotary Youth Exchange program, club scholarship program and Rotary International programs including PolioPlus.
Please come to the flea market and auction. You never know what you might find that you didn’t know you needed!
