Elton John has sold out the September 3rd concert at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in record time. All 15,000 tickets were sold in 53 minutes to what will be the most anticipated concert event of the year at the Sullivan County Catskill's venue.

Elton John has sold out the September 3rd concert at Bethel Woods Center for the Arts in record time. All 15,000 tickets were sold in 53 minutes to what will be the most anticipated concert event of the year at the Sullivan County Catskill's venue.
 
"We thank the many Elton John fans, our members, donors and the wonderful community here in Sullivan County for their support. We are thrilled that so many people have come to see Elton's premiere concert at Bethel Woods," says Darlene Fedun, COO, Bethel Woods. Fedun adds, "42 years ago history was made on our site and today we set another record with Elton John."
 
Elton and his band put on the kind of concert you will never forget: the entire audience standing, dancing and singing along with much-loved classic songs such as "Your Song", "Daniel", "Rocket Man", "Bennie and the Jets" and many more including selections from The UNION, Elton and Leon Russell's critically acclaimed album on Decca Records available now. The album features a variety of musical genres from R&B, Soul, Gospel, Pop and Rock.
 
Rolling Stone Magazine gave The UNION 5 stars. In addition Elton and Leon are nominated for a 2011 Grammy, Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals for "If It Wasn't for Bad".
