Wayne County Register-Recorder Ginger Golden will seek re-election this year.


Wayne County Register-Recorder Ginger Golden will seek re-election this year.

Golden said her and her staff have provided county residents with courteous and efficient service, and she sees herself as the employee and the residents of Wayne County as he employer.

“I work for the people and will do whatever I can to enhance the quality of service available in my office,” she stated.

Golden said that through efficient management and excellent employees, the office has continued to improve service.

The total realty transfer tax collected in 2010 was $2,888,153.22, which must be accurately distributed in a timely manner to the state, county, townships, boroughs and school districts.

“As a result of this hard work done accurately and efficiently, the office turned over to the Wayne Commissioners more than $479,000 in Recording and Probate fees.

Golden is an executive member of the Wayne County Republican Committee and is a past president of the Wayne County Council of Republican Women. She also serves as Legislative Chairperson of the Wayne County Business and Professional Women.

She is a member of St. John Lutheran Church, as well as the Pleasant Valley Grange and she has served on the board of the American Heart Association.

She resides in Canaan Twp. with her husband Frank, chairman of the Wayne County Republican Committee. She is the mother of three children and the Goldens are grandparents of three grandchildren.
