A Wayne Highlands Middle School student has been excluded from school for a drug violation.

The in-school incident, which occured in December, resulted in a 180-exclusion, with the student out for the rest of the school year and part of next.

The in-school incident, which occured in December, resulted in a 180-exclusion, with the student out for the rest of the school year and part of next.
The Wayne Highlands School Board approved the exclusion at Tuesday night’s board meeting.

The district has experienced three cases of controlled substance/ weapons violations this year, down from last year's total of 14.
