In observance of American Heart Month, Marian Community Hospital and the Carbondale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will be cosponsoring a free Blood Pressure Screening and Heart Health Program on Tuesday, Feb. 8, in the Marian Community Hospital Board Room located in Marian Hall Auditorium, 141 Salem Avenue, Carbondale.


In observance of American Heart Month, Marian Community Hospital and the Carbondale Nursing and Rehabilitation Center will be cosponsoring a free Blood Pressure Screening and Heart Health Program on Tuesday, Feb. 8, in the Marian Community Hospital Board Room located in Marian Hall Auditorium, 141 Salem Avenue, Carbondale.

The screenings begin at 11 a.m. and will be followed by a light lunch. The program will conclude with an educational presentation, at 12:15 p.m. given by Dr. Frank Moro, internal medicine practitioner, speaking on the topic of “General Heart Health” and Nicole Coppola, MS, RD, LDN, dietitian, discussing “Nutrition for a Healthy Heart.”
