  • The Wayne County Historical Society will be open on its regular schedule through the end of December, giving members and friends an opportunity to shop and visit several of the current exhibits for the last time.

  • The Wayne County Historical Society will be open on its regular schedule through the end of December, giving members and friends an opportunity to shop and visit several of the current exhibits for the last time.
    The WCHS Museum Shop is noted for its unique gifts at reasonable prices. Perennial favorites include Dr. Vernon Leslie's Wayne County history books; handcrafted items by local artisans; "Murder, Mayhem and Sundry Misadventures in Wayne County, Pennsylvania;" the colorful Wayne County afghan (new this year)and Gene Tagle's "The Irish in Wayne County."
    The very popular "Fire! Fire! History of Fire Fighting in Wayne County" exhibit will be closing Dec. 31, along with other temporary exhibits. Hours for the museum, shop and library are Wednesday through Saturday, 10 am to 4 pm through Dec. 31.
