On Saturday, Dec. 4, Santa and his friends will visit six local communities aboard a special train provided by Steamtown National Historic Site.


This year, Santa will be extending his visit to include the City of Scranton and Steamtown National Historic Site in downtown Scranton as he makes the rounds.

The Santa Train will arrive at the train station in each community at the following times:

• 10:30 a.m. Carbondale Train Station, River Street, Carbondale
• 11:35 a.m. Archbald Train Station, Pike Street, Archbald
• 12:20 p.m. Jessup Train Station, Church Street, Jessup
• 1:00 p.m. Olyphant Train Station, Lackawanna Avenue, Olyphant
• 1:45 p.m. Dickson City Train Station, Boulevard Avenue, Dickson City
• 3:00 p.m. State Office Building Parking Lot, Lackawanna Avenue, Scranton
