he 10th Congressional District race, Tuesday night, showed Thomas A. Marino in the  lead on the Republican ticket with 88.9% of the precincts reporting, and 24,115 votes. He had 41 percent of the vote.

Fellow Republicans David Madeira had 18, 217 votes, or 31 percent; and Malcom L. Derk had 16,492 vote, or 28 percent.
Marino appeared set to face a November ballot challenge against incumbent Democrat Rep. Chris Carney, who ran unopposed. Carney had 37,892 votes.
In the lieutenant governor race, on the Democratic ticket, with 91.6 percent of the precincts reporting, H. Scott Conklin was leading with 282,740 votes. Jonathan A. Saidel had 280,890 votes and Doris A, Smith-Ribner, 238,294.
On the GOP side, Jim Cawley was leading with 185,675 votes. Steve Johnson had 62,541; Jean Craige Pepper, 94,774; Russ Diamond, 30,745; Chet Beiler, 130,845; Billy McCue, 26,837; John Kennedy, 65,242; Stephen A. Urban, 34,200 and Daryl Metcalfe, 96, 292.
