On Thursday, November 19th, Habitat for Humanity of Wayne County, PA hosted its Annual Volunteer Recognition Night Dinner at Grace Episcopal Church. Volunteers, Partner Families and Board members were in attendance to recognize and show their appreciation to the volunteers, organizations and businesses that have helped construct House number 14 on Columbus Avenue near Hawley.
Those who received special recognition were Wilmot Electric, Donald Clune Plumbing & Heating, Tom Morley (Website), Noah Thomas Builders, Inc., Superior Walls by Advanced Concrete, C& Seamless Gutters, Gumble Brothers, All About Roofing, JD Contracting, Mike Bodick/MC Bodick Excavating, Lacey Janette, Kiley Surveying & Mapping and Debra Wolf (Board member and Fund Raising Committee Volunteer). The Golden Hammer Award was given to Leo O'Reilly a long time member of the Board and on the Building Committee.
Local restaurants and businesses (The Trackside Grill, Himalayan Institute, HonesDeli, Nature's Grace, Dave's Super Duper, Sunrise Market, Original Pocono Pizza, Elegante's Restaurant, Papa Primo's Pizza, Kay's Italian Restaurant, Pizza Hut/Wing Street, and Settlers Inn) provided the food for the evenings event.
