The Dime Bank’s Relay for Life team, Planet Dime, will be participating in the American Cancer Society’s Relay for Life to be held at the Wallenpaupack High School. This is the fourteenth continuous year that Dime Bank employees and directors are supporting this very important community event.  Saturday will be filled with many activities including scavenger hunts, various games and a luminary ceremony at dusk. All members of the community are invited to attend.
The Dime Bank Directors once again agreed that as a partner of the community, The Dime Bank should be the presenting sponsor of the event with a $3,000 donation.  Planet Dime has a goal of raising $8,000 in addition to the corporate sponsorship. The American Cancer Society’s researchers have helped discover methods for detecting and treating cancer, with new advances against the fight being discovered each year. If you would like to make a donation, please visit any Dime Bank office in Honesdale, Hawley, Damascus, Greentown, Dingmans Ferry or the new Lake Region Office.
