The Honesdale Borough Police are investigating the theft of a long board type skateboard from the bed of a pickup.


Skateboard stolen
HONESDALE - The Honesdale Borough Police are investigating the theft of a long board type skateboard from the bed of a pickup.
According to Police, the victim was parked at Turkey Hill on May 22nd at approximately 12:45 a.m.,  when an unknown person took the board from the open bed of the victim’s truck. The long board is described as rectangular in shape with an ocean scene on the bottom and clear green wheels.

Gas grill gone

The Honesdale Borough Police are investigating the theft of a gas grill from a residence at 259 Terrace Street sometime between 7 p.m. on May 23rd and 5 p.m. on May 24th.  
The victim related the grill brand was “The Big Easy.”  The grill is described a being black in color and has two burners. Also attached to it was a 20 lb. white propane tank..

Tires punctured
Honesdale Borough Police report that between the hours of 8 p.m. on Friday,  May 22 and 8 a.m. Saturday, May 23 a person or persons intentionally punctured the two front tires of a white Subaru Impreza which was parked on Broad Street.
Anyone who has information or saw anyone suspicious in the area is urged to call the Honesdale Borough Police Dept at 253-1900. Ptlm. Thacher is the investigating officer.
