Art show benefits Dessin
DYBERRY- Studio/Gallery, 150 Spry Road, north of Honesdale, is presenting an exhibit of paintings of “cats, landscapes and spring ephemerals” to benefit Dessin Animal Shelter. Three artists are represented, Susan Roecker (ink drawings), Bonnie Evans (watercolors) and Michael O’Neill (pastels and oils). The exhibit runs through May 31.
From Honesdale take Route 191 north, turn right at the Fireside Restaurant, and head up the Oregon Turnpike 2.8 miles. Turn right onto Spry Road; the gallery is 0.6 mil after the turn, on the left side. For more information call (570)251-8614.

Exhibit of Howard Becker paintings
HONESDALE - Remax Wayne is hosting an art exhibit of the work of the late Howard Daniel Becker of Honesdale, through May 27th. The public may stop in any time Remax Wayne is open, daily 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. (Sundays 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.). Big D Arts and Crafts League host third show
STARLIGHT - Caroline Harrow and Cecelia M. Laurendeau, members of the Big D Arts and Crafts League, held an opening reception at the Starlite Gallery at the Inn at Starlight Lake on Saturday, May 2nd.
Artist Caroline Harrow's realistic watercolor paintings depict farm landscapes, country scenes and still life from a time when life was simpler. She uses muted colors of the earth to illustrate this.
 Artist Cecelia M. Laurendeau's considers herself a self-taught artist and photographer who discovered her talent at age 12 and has been creating art throughout her life.  Although her most favorite is oil painting, she has created fine art works in all media. 

Michael Gambino paintings at the Alliance Gallery
NARROWSBURG, NY -  These Friday/Saturday art exhibits are on display now through June 6 at the Delaware Valley Arts Alliance, 37 Main Street, Narrowsburg, NY.  Both are free admission.
