Ashley Nicole Munoz, daughter of Laura Curley of northern Wayne County, has been chosen as a State Finalist in the National American Miss Pennsylvania Pageant. This is to be held July 11th at the Hilton Harrisburg.


Ashley Nicole Munoz, daughter of Laura Curley of northern Wayne County, has been chosen as a State Finalist in the National American Miss Pennsylvania Pageant. This is to be held July 11th at the Hilton Harrisburg.
Ashley is 11 years old. She is a member of her school’s student council and enjoys playing the flute and playing basketball. She performs in school plays and loves her village.
The pageant is for girls ages 10 through 12. The winner of the pageant will receive a $1,000 cash award, the official crown and banner, a bouquet of roses, and air transportation to compete in the national pageant at Disneyland in California. The Natio
The pageant program is based on inner beauty, as well as poise and presentation, and offers an “All-American spiritof fun for family and friends.” Emphasis is placed on the importance of gaining self-confidence, learning new skills, learning good attitudes about competition, and setting and achieving personal goals.
