Barring any storms that would take leaves down, he expects the peak to start arriving in a couple weeks. The spring’s Tent Caterpillars hurt some spots where trees were defoliated. For those who care for their woodlands all year, autumn is their reward to enjoy the brilliant red, orange, yellow and brown painting our area, he said.
