Damage was done at Bear Paw hunting club, and it does not appear to be due to any bruin.
State Police at Honesdale investigated a burglary at the property along Brucher Road off River road in Damascus Township, Saturday April 26. The crime took place sometime between 6:30 p.m., Friday, and 7 a.m., Saturday.
Intruders smashed all exterior windows and damaged vinyl siding on the hunting club’s trailer. They then forced entry into the structure and damaged appliances.

• Criminal mischief was reported in Lake Township, Friday April 25. At 10:20 p.m., an unknown person shot a vehicle along SR 296 with a pellet gun. The vehicle is owned by a man from Lake Ariel. Trooper Keith Brislin asked that anyone with information to alert the State Police at 253-7126.
• On April 16-17, someone stole a wooden outdoor swing at Kellogg’s Nursery, Route 590 in Hamlin. Trooper Scott Walck investigated.
Down Pike way
• State Police, Blooming Grove, reported criminal trespass and mischief at a home along Winchester Way, Saw Creek Estates, Lehman Township, occurring sometime between April 19 and 25. An unknown person cut the lock hasps off a storage trailer parked in the victim’s driveway. The trailer was not entered because it was parked against a rock wall and the gate would not open. The victim also related that someone has been using his hot tub on his rear deck, within the same dates. Anyone with information should call the Blooming Grove barracks at 226-5718. • Benjamin Jensen, 22, of Shohola, was cited for criminal mischief at District  Court after driving his vehicle through the exit gate of Pocono Mountain Water Forest development, said Trooper Slavinski. The incident took place Sunday April 27 at 1:26 a.m., at the Log Tavern Road entrance.
