County prison terms
•Daniel Cestone, age 40 of Lake Ariel, PA was sentenced to the Wayne County Prison for a period of not less than 3 months nor more than 6 months for one count of DUI, an ungraded Misdemeanor and one count of Driving While Operating Privilege Suspended/Revoked, graded as a Summary offense.  He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $2,000.00, attend and complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, obtain full time employment upon parole, and pay $300.00 for the cost of the public defender.   The incident occurred on October 28, 2006, in Salem Township when Pennsylvania State Police observed Cestone cross the double yellow lines.  His BAC was .16%.
• Donnelle Elizabeth Davis, age 22 of Waymart, PA was sentenced to the Wayne County Prison for a period of not less than 72 hours nor more than 6 months for one count of DUI, an ungraded Misdemeanor.  She was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $1,000.00, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, attend and complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, perform 50 hours of community service, and pay $300.00 for the cost of public defender.  The incident occurred on June 16, 2007, in Waymart Borough when Pennsylvania State Police observed Davis weave into the oncoming lane of traffic several times while speeding.   Her BAC was .22%.
• Nicole Marie Doerrie, age 24 of Lake Ariel, PA was sentenced to the Wayne County Prison for a period of not less than 30 days nor more than 6 months for one count of DUI, an ungraded Misdemeanor.  She was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $750.00, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, perform 50 hours of community service, and attend and complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program.  The incident occurred on July 9, 2007, in Salem Township when Pennsylvania Police observed Doerrie travel into the oncoming lane of traffic.  Her BAC was .14%.
• Reginald W. Hubbard Jr., age 24, of Honesdale, PA was sentenced to the Wayne County Prison for a period of not less than 10 days nor more than 6 months for one count of DUI, an ungraded Misdemeanor.  He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $500.00, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, attend and complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, continue with mental health treatment and pay $300.00 for the cost of the public defender.  The incident occurred on July 15, 2007, in Berlin Township when Pennsylvania State Police were called to investigate a report of a possible PFA violation.  His BAC was .15%. 
• Patrick P. Porter, age 55 of Starlight, PA was sentenced to the Wayne County Prison for a period of not less than 3 months nor more than 6 months for one count of DUI, an ungraded Misdemeanor.  He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $750.00, attend and complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, and undergo a mental health evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment.  The incident occurred on April 21, 2007, in Damascus Township when Pennsylvania State Police were called to investigate the report of a one vehicle crash.  His BAC was .15%.
• Jason J. Allison, age 22 of Carbondale, PA was sentenced to the Wayne County Prison for a period of not less than 15 days nor more than 18 months for one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, an ungraded Misdemeanor and one count of Sell/Furnish Liquor, Malt, Brewed Beverage to Minors, graded as a Misdemeanor of the 3rd Degree.  He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $200.00, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, and perform 50 hours of community service.  The incident occurred on September 6, 2007, in Honesdale Borough when Allison was discovered to be in possession of a Marijuana pipe.  At that time it was also discovered that Allison was traveling with 2 underage individuals for whom he had provided alcohol.
• Jamie Lynn Laplant, age 19 of White Mills, PA was sentenced to the Wayne County Prison for a period of not less than 10 days nor more than 12 months for one count of Possession of Controlled Substance, an ungraded Misdemeanor and one count of Fleeing or Attempting to Elude a Police Officer, graded as a Misdemeanor of the 2nd Degree.  She was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $100.00, pay $300.00 for the cost of the public defender, and undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment.  The incident occurred on July 1, 2007, in Cherry Ridge Township when Pennsylvania State Police observed LaPlant traveling in an erratic manner.  Upon being stopped, LaPlant ran into a nearby wooded area to avoid being apprehended.
• Richard E. Starks, age 23 of Greentown, PA was sentenced to the Wayne County Prison for a period of not less than 10 days nor more than 6 months for one count of DUI, an ungraded Misdemeanor.  He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $1,000.00, pay $300.00 for the cost of the public defender, and attend and complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program.  The incident occurred on August 11, 2007, in Honesdale Borough when Honesdale Borough Police observed Starks activate his left turn signal and then proceed to make a right hand turn.  His BAC was .161%.
• Anthony Leroy Rake, age 27 of Honesdale, PA was sentenced to the Wayne County Prison for a period of not less than 30 days nor more than 6 months for one count of DUI, an ungraded Misdemeanor, one count of Driving While Operating Privilege Suspended/Revoked, graded as a Summary and one count of Exceed 35 MPH Speed Limit in Urban District, salso graded as a Summary offense.  He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $845.00, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, attend and complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program, and perform 50 hours of community service.  The incident occurred on July 28, 2007, in Texas Township when Pennsylvania State Police observed Rake traveling at a high rate of speed.   His BAC was .11%.
• Stephen Paul Gardner, age 45 of Hamlin, PA was sentenced to the Wayne County Prison for a period of not less than 4 days nor more than 6 months for one count of DUI, an ungraded Misdemeanor, one count of Disorderly Conduct, graded as a Summary, and one count of Careless Driving, also graded as a Summary offense.  He was also ordered to pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $500.00, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, and perform 50 hours of community service.  The incident occurred on August 15, 2007, in Salem Township when Pennsylvania State Police responded to a report of a vehicle blocking a roadway.  Gardner and a female passenger were passed out in the vehicle.  His BAC was .29%.
Other cases
• Stacie Lynam, age 35 of Tafton, PA was placed on the Intermediate Punishment Program for a period of 12 months for one count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia, an ungraded Misdemeanor and one count of DUI, also an ungraded Misdemeanor.  She was also ordered to undergo house arrest with electronic monitoring for a period of 30 days, pay all Court costs, pay a fine in the amount of $500.00, pay $300.00 for the cost of the public defender, perform 50 hours of community service, undergo a drug and alcohol evaluation and comply with all recommendations for treatment, and attend and complete the Alcohol Highway Safety Program.   The incident occurred on July 3, 2007, in Palmyra Township when Pennsylvania State Police observed Lynam traveling at a high rate of speed.  Her BAC was .14%.
